OUR STORY

Our story began in 2014, when we met at a local tax firm here in Maine.

For a decade, we have built our careers side by side: studying for the CPA exam, earning master’s degrees, celebrating promotions, and navigating firm mergers. We supported each other through marriages, motherhood, and milestones along the way — learning firsthand how much heart it takes to thrive in a field not designed for balance.

When the traditional public accounting model didn’t align with the careers and lives we envisioned, we both stepped away — first Mirissa, to raise her family, and later Lacy, after reaching partner level.

After some time apart and a lot of reflection, we found ourselves asking the same question:
What if accounting could work for people — not the other way around?
That question became our mission.
And so, we came full circle.

Full Circle CPAs was born from our shared vision to redefine what it means to be a CPA, a parent, and a partner. We’re building a firm where flexibility and excellence coexist — where clients feel genuinely cared for by the professionals behind the numbers.
MEET THE FOUNDERS

Mirissa Harrison
CPA
Mirissa is a Certified Public Accountant who makes taxes and business finances feel a little less intimidating. Since 2013, she has served clients at both local and national firms, gaining broad experience in complex financial matters. She co-founded Full Circle CPAs to provide a more personalized, collaborative approach. When she’s off the clock, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Lacy McMoarn
MAcc & CPA
Lacy has a Master’s in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant who believes taxes don’t have to be overwhelming and that good communication goes a long way. Starting in 2014, she has spent years helping everyone from small business owners to multi-state entrepreneurs make sense of their finances. Co-founding Full Circle CPAs gave her the chance to create a firm where conversations are easy, clients feel supported, and no question is too small. When she’s off the clock, Lacy is usually exploring Portland and tackling yet another house project with her husband.
